WHAT TO EXPECT

“PRACTICE DOES NOT MAKE PERFECT. ONLY PERFECT PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT”

-VINCE LOMBARDI

IN YOUR LESSONS

I want my lessons to be fun, educational and interesting. The last thing I want my lessons to end up becoming is boring. So I like to treat my lessons with a relaxed and friendly manner, so don’t worry! We’re not at school, so it won’t be too intense, however I will encourage you to Practice at home, as this is really important (whether this is just as a hobby or you want to progress to something like joining a band, or even street busking). I will never put any unnecessary pressure on my students to do anything they feel that’s too difficult. I won’t ask you to do anything I haven’t already done myself.

Remember, we’ve all got to start somewhere and each of us learn in different ways as well. No matter how fast or slow you learn, I am a very patient person, so as long as you’re realistic with yourself and have the right attitude to learning, understanding and playing…

Then you can achieve whatever you put your mind to!

Guitar is the best form of self-expression I know. Everything else, and I’m just sort of tripping around, trying to figure my way through life.
